모든 그리스도인은 성경을 연구할 때, 
전심으로 성령 하나님의 도우심을 위하여 기도해야 합니다. 
왜냐하면, 오직 성령께서만 
성경에 숨겨진 진리를 깨닫게 하실 수 있기 때문입니다

 

 

성경의 각 페이지에 숨어 있는 심오한 진리를 이해하기 위한 여정에서, 모든 그리스도인들은 기도의 중요성을 절대로 간과해서는 안됩니다. 

 

기도는 우리의 인간적인 노력과 거룩한 말씀에 내재된 하나님의 지혜 사이를 연결해주는 필수적인 역할을 합니다. 

 

모든 성경 연구자들은 성경의 가르침의 거룩함을 인정하며, 오직 성령 하나님께서만 성경말씀에 감추어진 깊은 진리를 드러내시고, 감춰진 진리를 성경을 연구하는 모든 사람들에게 밝히 알려주실 능력을 가졌음을 우리는 인정해야 합니다.

 

단순하고 전심으로 드리는 기도를 통하여 모든 그리스도인들은 겸손히 성령 하나님의 인도하심을 간구해야 하며, 오직 그럴 때에만 인간적인 한계와 해석을 초월하는 통찰력을 드러내 주시는 성령 하나님의 능력을 받아들일 수 있습니다.

 

이러한 기도하면서 성경을 연구하는 것은 인간과 하나님의 신성 사이의 조화로운 협력을 만들어내어, 성경이 말씀하시는 심오한 진리를 이해할 수 있게 합니다.
